Justification through Christ

And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified. Psalms 143:2

No one can stand justified on their own merits. Paul quotes this line to show that everyone needs to be justified through faith in Jesus Christ and His grace.

David asks Jehovah to show him the way, to give him life ('quicken'), and to deliver him for the sake of His own name.
