The Ransom No Man Can Pay

None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him: Psalms 49:7–9

No human wealth can pay the ransom for a soul or keep anyone from death. Only Christ could, giving His own life as a ransom for all.

Redeemed from the Power of the Grave

Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling. Psalms 49:14–15

Where riches fail, God redeems the soul from the grave. Abinadi teaches that because Christ rose, the grave has no victory.
