Zechariah 4

Chief Cornerstone

Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. Zechariah 4:7

The finishing stone of the rebuilt temple is greeted with cries of 'Grace, grace.' Scripture elsewhere calls Christ the head stone of the corner, and the temple is finished by grace, not by human might.

Jehovah

Jehovah — the premortal name of Christ, 'the Eternal I AM'

Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth. Zechariah 4:14

The two anointed ones (priest and ruler, oil-bearers) serve before the LORD of the whole earth, Jehovah, who is the premortal Christ. John later uses this image for two latter-day witnesses standing before the God of the earth.
