Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) Ephesians 2:5–6
Because Christ was raised, God gives spiritual life to those who were dead in sin and lifts them up with Him. This new life is a gift of grace.

God's kindness and grace reach us through Christ Jesus. Salvation is His gift received through faith, not something we earn (compare 2 Nephi 25:23).

He is our peace — the One who reconciles and unites
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Ephesians 2:14
Christ Himself is our peace. He tore down the wall that divided Jews and Gentiles and made them one people.

Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; Ephesians 2:15–16
Through His body offered on the cross, Christ fulfilled the law of ordinances that separated peoples and reconciled all to God in one body.

And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. Ephesians 2:17
Christ came preaching peace to both the far-off Gentiles and the nearby Jews, fulfilling Isaiah's words.

Mediator — the One through whom we come to the Father
For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Ephesians 2:18
Through Christ, Jews and Gentiles alike can come to the Father by the Spirit. He is the way to the Father.

And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; Ephesians 2:20–21
The Church is a building founded on apostles and prophets, but Jesus Christ is the chief corner stone that aligns and holds everything together. In Him the Saints grow into a holy temple.
