Sacrifice as a similitude of Christ

And he made the altar of burnt offering of shittim wood: five cubits was the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof; it was foursquare; and three cubits the height thereof. Exodus 38:1–7

The brass altar at the entrance was where every sacrifice was offered. No one reached God's presence without passing the altar, just as no one comes to the Father except through Christ's sacrifice.

The Door

And the hanging for the gate of the court was needlework, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: and twenty cubits was the length, and the height in the breadth was five cubits, answerable to the hangings of the court. Exodus 38:18

The court had only one gate. Jesus taught that He is the door and the way; there is one entrance into God's presence.

Redeemer

And the silver of them that were numbered of the congregation was an hundred talents, and a thousand seven hundred and threescore and fifteen shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary: Exodus 38:25–27

Each man's half shekel was 'atonement money,' a ransom for his soul, and it became the silver foundation of the sanctuary. It quietly teaches that redemption is the foundation of dwelling with God, a ransom finally paid not with silver but by Christ's blood.
