Joseph as a type of Christ
Then Joseph said unto the people, Behold, I have bought you this day and your land for Pharaoh: lo, here is seed for you, and ye shall sow the land. Genesis 47:23–25
Starving people give everything to Joseph, who buys them, gives them seed and life, and they call him the one who saved their lives. Christ bought us with His own blood, and we gladly become His servants because He saved us.
