Jehovah — the covenant name, 'I AM', the Eternal One
O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble. Isaiah 33:2
The people pray to Jehovah to be their strength and their salvation. The name Jesus means 'Jehovah saves', and He is the salvation they are waiting for.

Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off. Isaiah 33:17
The righteous are promised that they will see the King in His beauty. In the context of verse 22 ('the LORD is our king'), this is the Lord Himself, and Latter-day Saints look for its fulfillment when the righteous see Christ in His glory.

But there the glorious LORD will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby. Isaiah 33:21–22
Jehovah is named as Zion's judge, lawgiver, king, and Savior. When the resurrected Jesus visited the Nephites, He declared that He is the one who gave the law, which identifies Him as this lawgiver.
