Numbers 11

Manna

But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes. Numbers 11:6–9

God fed Israel every night with manna from heaven, yet they grew tired of it and wanted Egypt's food. Jesus taught that He is the true bread from heaven; we can make the same mistake of despising the daily gift that keeps us alive.

Jehovah

And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD’s hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not. Numbers 11:23

When Moses doubted that a million people could be fed meat, Jehovah, the premortal Christ, asked if His hand was too short. Isaiah uses the same image of the Lord's hand that is never too short to save or redeem.

Jehovah

Jehovah came down in a cloud, spoke to Moses, and shared Moses' spirit with seventy elders so he would not carry the people alone. The Lord gives helpers and His Spirit to those who serve Him.
