Jehovah

And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth. Numbers 12:5–8

Jehovah, the premortal Christ, came down and stood at the tabernacle door, declaring that Moses talked with Him openly and saw His form. Moses knew the Lord face to face.

Moses as a Type of Christ

My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. Numbers 12:7

Jehovah calls Moses a faithful servant over His whole house. Hebrews quotes this verse to teach that Moses was faithful as a servant, but Jesus Christ is faithful as the Son over His own house, and we are that house.
