Numbers 10

Jehovah

And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies. Numbers 10:9–10

Jehovah, the premortal Christ, promises that when Israel calls on Him He will remember them and save them. The God who says "I am the LORD your God" is the same Savior who rescues us.

Jehovah

And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days’ journey: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days’ journey, to search out a resting place for them. Numbers 10:33–34

The ark of Jehovah's covenant and His cloud went ahead of Israel to find them a place to rest. Moses later reminded Israel that the Lord Himself went before them to search out every camping place.

Jehovah

And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee. Numbers 10:35–36

Each time the ark moved, Moses prayed to Jehovah, the premortal Christ, to rise up against Israel's enemies, and each time it stopped he asked Him to return and stay among His people. It is a prayer for the Lord to lead us and to live with us.
