Lamb of God

And thou shalt say unto them, This is the offering made by fire which ye shall offer unto the LORD; two lambs of the first year without spot day by day, for a continual burnt offering. Numbers 28:3–8

Every morning and every evening, a spotless lamb was offered to the LORD, so the altar was never without a sacrifice. These lambs were a similitude of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God without blemish, whose one perfect sacrifice is always available to us.

Passover Lamb

And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the passover of the LORD. Numbers 28:16–17

Passover remembered the night the lamb's blood on the doorposts saved Israel from death. Paul teaches that "Christ our passover is sacrificed for us," and Jesus was crucified at Passover time, so His blood is what saves us.

Sacrifice as a similitude of Christ

But ye shall offer a sacrifice made by fire for a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, and seven lambs of the first year: they shall be unto you without blemish: Numbers 28:19–22

The festival offerings had to be without blemish, and a goat was offered as a sin offering "to make an atonement for you" (the same words return at the day of firstfruits, v. 30; the new-moon goat of v. 15 is a sin offering without that phrase). These sacrifices could not take away sin by themselves. They pointed forward to the blood of Christ, the perfect offering that truly atones.
