Sacrifice as a similitude of the Son

And ye shall offer a burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the LORD; one young bullock, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year without blemish: Numbers 29:2–6

Every unblemished lamb burned on the altar was a picture of the sinless Son of God giving His whole life. Latter-day revelation says these sacrifices were 'a similitude of the sacrifice of the Only Begotten of the Father.'

Atonement

The sin offering was offered 'to make an atonement' — the very word used for what Jesus Christ did. The animal's death for the people's sins pointed to the Savior's infinite sacrifice.

Day of Atonement

And ye shall have on the tenth day of this seventh month an holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls: ye shall not do any work therein: Numbers 29:7–11

The tenth day of the seventh month was the Day of Atonement. Numbers lists its offerings; Leviticus 16 describes the high priest carrying blood behind the veil for the whole nation. Hebrews calls that yearly rite 'a figure' of Christ, the true High Priest who entered heaven with His own blood.

Living Water (Feast of Tabernacles)

And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work, and ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: Numbers 29:12–38

This is the Feast of Tabernacles. It was at this feast, on 'the last day, that great day of the feast,' that Jesus stood and invited the thirsty to come to Him and drink, so the feast became the setting for His witness of Himself.
