Proverbs 9

Bread of Life

Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars: Proverbs 9:1–6

Wisdom prepares a meal, sends out servants to invite the simple, and offers bread and wine that lead to life. Christians hear an echo of Christ's invitation in the parable of the wedding feast and of the bread and wine He gave, which we remember in the sacrament. This is a soft echo, not a declared type.

Jehovah

LORD (Jehovah) — the covenant name, "I AM", the premortal Christ

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Proverbs 9:10

Wisdom begins with reverence for the LORD, Jehovah the premortal Christ. "The holy" can also be read as "the Holy One," so real understanding comes from knowing Him.
