Jehovah — the covenant name, 'I AM,' the eternal One
O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me: Psalms 7:1
David puts his trust in the LORD to save him from persecutors. Latter-day Saints know Jehovah as Jesus Christ, the Deliverer.
How we know: Jehovah is the premortal Christ (Abraham 1:16; D&C 110:3–4)
The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me. Psalms 7:8–11
The LORD judges the people and looks into every heart. The risen Christ uses this same description of Himself, 'I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts,' and the Father has committed all judgment to the Son.

Most High (Hebrew Elyon) — the Highest
I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high. Psalms 7:17
David ends by praising the name of the LORD most high for His righteousness. For Latter-day Saints this is the name of Jehovah, the premortal Christ.
