Savior

Savior — the one who rescues and delivers

When the Savior shall appear we shall see him as he is. We shall see that he is a man like ourselves. Doctrine and Covenants 130:1

When the Savior comes, we will see Him as He really is: a glorified, resurrected man. He is not a formless essence but a real person.

The Son (personal appearance)

John 14:23—The appearing of the Father and the Son, in that verse, is a personal appearance; and the idea that the Father and the Son dwell in a man's heart is an old sectarian notion, and is false. Doctrine and Covenants 130:3

Joseph explains that when Jesus promised He and the Father would come to the faithful, He meant a real, personal appearance, not a feeling in the heart.

Christ

Christ — the Anointed One

This earth, in its sanctified and immortal state, will be made like unto crystal and will be a Urim and Thummim to the inhabitants who dwell thereon, whereby all things pertaining to an inferior kingdom, or all kingdoms of a lower order, will be manifest to those who dwell on it; and this earth will be Christ's. Doctrine and Covenants 130:9

When the earth is sanctified and made celestial, it will belong to Christ. The world He created and redeemed will finally be His kingdom.

Son of Man

Son of Man — Son of the Man of Holiness, the Father

I prophesy, in the name of the Lord God, that the commencement of the difficulties which will cause much bloodshed previous to the coming of the Son of Man will be in South Carolina. Doctrine and Covenants 130:12–13

Joseph prophesies of wars that will come before the Second Coming of the Son of Man, a title for Jesus as the Son of the Man of Holiness.

Coming of the Son of Man

Son of Man — Son of the Man of Holiness

I was once praying very earnestly to know the time of the coming of the Son of Man, when I heard a voice repeat the following: Doctrine and Covenants 130:14–17

Joseph asked when the Son of Man would come and was told only that he would see His face if he lived to eighty-five. The Lord did not reveal the exact time of His coming.

The Son has a body

The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man's; the Son also; but the Holy Ghost has not a body of flesh and bones, but is a personage of Spirit. Were it not so, the Holy Ghost could not dwell in us. Doctrine and Covenants 130:22

The Son, Jesus Christ, has a resurrected body of flesh and bones as real as ours. He and the Father are separate beings from the Holy Ghost.
