Jehovah

Jehovah — the covenant name of God, rendered LORD; the premortal Jesus Christ

The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father’s house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence. Genesis 24:7

The LORD who called Abraham, spoke with him, and swore the covenant about his seed is Jehovah, the premortal Christ. Abraham trusts Him to send an angel ahead to guide the servant.

Jehovah

And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped the LORD. Genesis 24:26–27

The servant worships Jehovah, the covenant God of Abraham, for answering his prayer and leading him step by step. Mercy and truth are the marks of the covenant God, who is Christ before His birth.

Isaac as a type of Christ

And Sarah my master’s wife bare a son to my master when she was old: and unto him hath he given all that he hath. Genesis 24:36

Isaac, the promised son born by miracle and already offered on Moriah, is the heir to whom the father gives everything. That echoes how the Father has given all things to His Son.

Bridegroom

And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, the camels were coming. Genesis 24:63–67

Many teachers see this as a picture of Christ the Bridegroom going out to meet His bride, the covenant people, who were brought to Him by a faithful servant. It is a traditional reading, not stated in the text.
