Prepare ye the way of the Lord

Hearken, and lo, a voice as of one sent down from on high, who is mighty and powerful, whose going forth is unto the ends of the earth, yea, whose voice is unto men—Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. Doctrine and Covenants 65:1

John the Baptist cried these words before Christ's first coming; now a voice from heaven cries them again to prepare for His Second Coming.

The Stone cut out without hands

The keys of the kingdom of God are committed unto man on the earth, and from thence shall the gospel roll forth unto the ends of the earth, as the stone which is cut out of the mountain without hands shall roll forth, until it has filled the whole earth. Doctrine and Covenants 65:2

Here the stone is the restored kingdom of God, which is Christ's kingdom; it rolls forth to fill the earth before its King returns.

The Lamb

Lamb — Christ as the sacrificial Lamb of God

Yea, a voice crying—Prepare ye the way of the Lord, prepare ye the supper of the Lamb, make ready for the Bridegroom. Doctrine and Covenants 65:3

The Lamb is Jesus, sacrificed for us; His marriage supper is the great feast of His people at His coming.

Bridegroom

Bridegroom — Christ, whose bride is His covenant people

Yea, a voice crying—Prepare ye the way of the Lord, prepare ye the supper of the Lamb, make ready for the Bridegroom. Doctrine and Covenants 65:3

Christ is the Bridegroom and His Church is the bride; like the wise virgins, the Saints must be ready when He comes.

The Lord and His holy name

Pray unto the Lord, call upon his holy name, make known his wonderful works among the people. Doctrine and Covenants 65:4

Echoing the Psalms, the Saints are told to call on the Lord's holy name and spread His works as His kingdom prepares for Him.

Son of Man

Son of Man — Son of Man of Holiness, the Son of the Father (Moses 6:57)

Call upon the Lord, that his kingdom may go forth upon the earth, that the inhabitants thereof may receive it, and be prepared for the days to come, in the which the Son of Man shall come down in heaven, clothed in the brightness of his glory, to meet the kingdom of God which is set up on the earth. Doctrine and Covenants 65:5

Jesus will come in glory to meet the kingdom His servants have built on earth; the two kingdoms become one.

Echo of the Lord's Prayer

Wherefore, may the kingdom of God go forth, that the kingdom of heaven may come, that thou, O God, mayest be glorified in heaven so on earth, that thine enemies may be subdued; for thine is the honor, power and glory, forever and ever. Amen. Doctrine and Covenants 65:6

The revelation closes in the pattern Jesus taught His disciples: thy kingdom come, for thine is the kingdom, power and glory.
